The first three months of 2021 were exciting for us in Vinifera.
First of all, we are very happy to have met Ms. Olga Antoniadou, a lovely South-African Greek who practices psychiatry & analytic therapy but is also in love with wine. Ms Olga, who also holds a WSET 3 Level, has contributed articles at Jancis Robinson's website and currently writes a very informative series of articles on karakasis.mw, the online home of the Greek Master of Wine Yiannis Karakasis MW.
We are also excited to have contributed in the two-piece article of Ms. Antoniadou on Boeotia, as a wine region. Our Alexandros Kosteletos had the chance to talk about Distomo and the terroir of our region to Ms. Antoniadou and explain our wine-making philosophy. Moroever, we were absolutely happy that this collaboration brought our wines into the radar of Mr. Karakasis MW himself. This led to the very encouraging for our effort event of Limniona 2018 to be included in his Greek Wine spring exploration list.
